COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A company that makes automotive parts is expanding its operations in Seneca and creating more than 100 jobs.

The state Commerce Department said Friday that BorgWarner Inc. is investing nearly $25 million and expects to create 105 new jobs.

Based in Auburn Hills, Mich., BorgWarner makes parts for powertrain systems and supplies companies including Ford, General Motors and BMW.

Hiring for the new jobs has already started. Officials say they expect the expansion will be completed in the next few years.
