Traffic stop turns into mobile meth bust

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) – Orangeburg County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people after a mobile meth lab was found in a vehicle's trunk.

Deputies were called in after troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol stopped a vehicle on Shillings Bridge Road Sunday.

The suspects, 21-year-old Will Rogers Mitchum Jr., 25-year-old Shane Allen Russell and 28-year-old Fran Nicole Roberts are all charged with possessing items to manufacture methamphetamine.

The driver, Will Mitchum Jr. was also charged with driving under suspension.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said agents from the State Law Enforcement Division responded for clean up.
