Road reopened after tractor trailer wreck in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- North Charleston police have reopened all eastbound lanes at Rivers Ave. and Remount Rd. after a tractor trailer ended up on its side.

According to NCPD, the driver of the 18 wheeler turned left from Remount to Rivers and overturned when his load shifted.

Rivers Avenue was shut down in one direction, affecting drivers on I-26.

No other vehicles were involved and no injuries have been reported. 

The road was closed until about 3:10 p.m.

It is unknown if the driver will be charged with any moving violations.
