COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Charleston Southern coach Jamey Chadwell doesn't want to have to lobby for a Football Championship Subdivision playoff bid,

If his Buccaneers beat Gardner-Webb on Saturday, they will still be in line for the Big South Conference title and an automatic berth in the playoffs.

Charleston Southern will win the Big South if it beats the Bulldogs and Liberty to end the season. Chadwell says that task got tougher because his team now has a target on them after upsetting Coastal Carolina last week.

In other games Saturday involving South Carolina's FCS teams, Presbyterian travels to Coastal Carolina; The Citadel hosts VMI; Wofford hosts Appalachian State; and Furman is at Western Carolina.

On Thursday, South Carolina State routed Morgan State 38-3.
