GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) — Three people injured in a triple shooting in late July will get a little help from a local Goose Creek business this weekend.

Stacy Bohannan and her husband, David, were two of the three people shot inside of Nowhere Bar & Grill.

No, the bar is working to do its part in helping the victims get back on their feet.

"I'm very grateful and the community has been wonderful," said Stacy Bohannan. "It absolutely makes me very, very angry, very bitter. I'm not the person that I want to be since the shooting."

Stacy Bohannan and her husband were in the bar when two men entered and started firing after they  were refused service.

"We didn't know these people," said Stacy Bohannan.

Stacy, who is a mother of three, was shot in the back of her head, but fortunately, the bullet didn't wasn't lodged to deep.

"It's affected me more emotionally than it has physically," she said.

Her husband, a carpenter, was shot in the arm. Stacy Bohanan said he was lone provider for the family.

"That takes a toll on a family. Without him working, bills are piling up. We live with my mother and father-in-law," she said. "We're doing physical therapy for him now to hopefully get him back to work."

Sunday starting at noon until 7 p.m., Nowhere Bar will hold a "Keep the Peace" benefit with proceeds going to the victims in the shooting.

The bar is located at 7128 Henry E. Brown, Jr. Blvd in Goose Creek. The public is encouraged to come out and participate in the event.

There will be live music featuring the Beanie Weenies Band as well as a silent auction, giveaways, and a raffle.

Food plates including barbeque, hash/rice, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese can be purchased for $5.

The two suspects in the case were later arrested and charged with attempted murder. Both are awaiting trial.
