South Yale Avenue Reopened to Two-Way Traffic

Posted: Updated:

A construction project on South Yale Avenue between East 101st street and East 111th street is nearly complete and as a result the road has been reopened to two-way traffic since Friday. It had been a one-way road since August 2012.

The drainage ditches on the side of the road are yet to be completed and the road is not yet striped due to the cool temperatures, according the City of Tulsa.

The cost of the project was $2,095,545. It was paid for by the 2008 Third Penny Sales Tax.
