Boil water advisory lifted for Charleston International Airport

Posted: Updated:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The boil water advisory that was issued for Charleston International Airport tenants Monday afternoon was lifted Tuesday morning.

Officials with the Charleston County Aviation Authority said drinking water fountains inside the airport were closed and the CCAA is encouraging passengers to drink bottled water, which is available for free at the Information Desk.

The advisory came after a water line broke during the airport construction project.

The airport has returned to normal operations.
