Heating Issues Continue at Tulsa School

Posted: Updated:

A Tulsa school has been experiencing heating issues after two of their boilers malfunctioned last week.

Students at Edison Preparatory School are still down to one boiler Tuesday morning. The heating issues began last week when the school's two boilers broke down.

A spokesperson with Tulsa Public Schools told KTUL that maintenance crews were able to repair one of them by the start of the school day on Monday. But that the second one would not be repaired until Thanksgiving Break began.

TPS added that the one working boiler at Edison would remain turned on "24/7" until the second one is fixed to keep the school heated. School official expect the second one to be working by the time students return from break.
