Christmas prep beginning at SC Governor's Mansion

Posted: Updated:

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas at the South Carolina Governor's Mansion.

Members of the South Carolina Christmas Tree Growers Association are bringing five live Christmas trees to the mansion on Monday. Members of the Future Farmers of America from Lexington Technology Center are also presenting poinsettias.

The decorations will be part of the Governor's Mansion Christmas Open House on Dec. 9. Details about those festivities will be announced later, but members of the public are invited to attend Monday's presentation of the decorations.
