COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Hampton County Coroner identified the body of a man found on Monday in the Combahee River.

Coroner Ernie Washington said 68-year-old Terry Thomas Lott, of Barnwell, was found in the river.

Lott's body was found by wildlife officials in the Combahee River Monday afternoon. According to a Department of Natural Resources official, the man was fishing when he somehow fell into the water.

The body was taken to the Hampton County Coroners office after it was pulled from the water.

A cause of death has not yet been determined, the coroner said Tuesday.
