NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- People heading to the John Mayer and Gabriel Iglesias shows at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center may want to leave early and carpool.

That's the word from venue officials.

Officials expect huge crowds Thursday for Mayer's concert at the Coliseum and Iglesias' comedy show at the Performing Arts Center. Capacity crowds are expected for both shows.

As a result, there is a parking alert for Thursday night.

Parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m. and more parking and shuttle service from the North Charleston Fire Museum and Tanger Outlets will start at 5 p.m.

Tickets are still available for both shows, officials said.
