Tahlequah Officials Address Disappearance of Man

Tahlequah authorities addressed Thursday afternoon the disappearance of a man last seen in 2004.

Officials with the Tahlequah Police Department held the press conference Thursday afternoon to address the disappearance of Stephan Adams.

During the event authorities stated that investigators have received "hundreds of leads" over the past nine years. He was reported last seen on Dec. 13 2004.

Authorities are now asking for residents and anyone with information to come forward. Officers with the TPD, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office have been involved in the investigation.

Previous reports from KTUL state that Adams went missing back in 2004. Friday marks the ninth year since he was last seen.

Adams was a student at Northeastern State University. His vehicle has never been found and no persons of interest or arrests have been made in the case.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
