WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are hoping the public will be able to identify a car believed to have been involved in a pair of hit-and-runs, including one that injured a pedestrian.

According to Charleston police, a pedestrian was injured Dec. 5 while walking along Clayton Drive in West Ashley after a car hit him and drove away. Police described the car as a recent model "urbane moss metallic" Chevy Cobalt.

Police say the car would have sustained damage to the right side view mirror.

The vehicle may have also been involved in another hit-and-run on Savannah Highway near Orleans Road, police said, which may have damaged the left quarter panel.
