Police investigating reports of shots fired in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police in North Charleston are searching for a scene after receiving reports of shots being fired.

According to officials, the incident happened on Warsaw Road.

Police said three black men were seen in the area around the time the shots were heard. All three men were seen running from the area shortly after, police said.

So far, officers searching the area have not found any victims or suspects, but a nearby apartment was hit by bullets. No one inside the apartment home was hit, however.

According to police, one subject was wearing a gray jean jacket with a white T-shirt underneath, neon sneakers, and holding a white bag. He was described as light complexion, 5'5 to 5'7, 18 to 20 years old.
