MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- A three-vehicle collision that closed down Long Point Road near the Waffle House is now cleared, according to Mt. Pleasant police.
Inspector Chris Helms said all lanes were closed because of the accident.
Helms said a silver 2013 Camry hit a 2002 Camry and then a third vehicle, a Burgundy PT Cruiser, was hit.
The accident happened when one of the vehicles failed to yield the right of way while turning left from Long Point into the Waffle House.
The driver of the Camry, a 26-year-old woman, was found at fault but was not cited for failing to yield the right of way.
Traffic headed out of Belle Hall Subdivision was diverted onto Paul Foster Road then rerouted back to Long Point.
There were no major injuries. The driver of the 2002 Camry was taken to the hospital for minor injuries from his air bag deploying.
