GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Three men and one woman in Georgetown were arrested and charged with a burglary at the Stein, Inc. on Highmarket Street in Georgetown County.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were making property checks on Dec. 29 in the Graves Community and spotted the four suspects parked sideways at the entrance to Stein, Inc. Officers found that someone had forced their way inside the shop.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Ashton David McElveen, 20-year-old Ryan O'Neill Woodruff, 25-year-old Joshua Andrew McBride, and 18-year-old Hunter Brandy Haselden.

McElveen was charged with trespassing, petit larceny, and second-degree burglary.

Woodruff, McBride, and Haselden were charged with receiving stolen goods and second-degree burglary.

On Dec. 30, deputies went to a Highmarket Street house that had been burglarized and were able to link Woodruff, McElveen, and McBride to that crime as well.

Woodruff was charged with first-degree burglary. McElveen and McBride were charged with second-degree burglary, officials said.

Since then, investigators have linked Woodruff and McBride to a Dec. 19 burglary.
