GCSO ask for public's help to find missing man

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Georgetown County Sheriff's Investigators are asking for the public's help to find a missing man who has been living on a boat.

Keith Edward Sullivan, 45, was last seen on Sunday, January 12,  around midnight on his boat the ‘Saga'. It's anchored in the Sampit River near the town clock on Front Street in Georgetown.

Mr. Sullivan is described as a white male who is 5'09" in height and weighing 160 pounds.  

Search teams are using marine patrol units and vessels, side scan sonar, and personnel. The Department of Natural Resources has also joined the effort.

On Friday Jan. 17, officials said clothing, similar to those described as being worn by Mr.
 Sullivan, were found on Goat Island at the mouth of the Sampit River. Goat Island is being searched by boat and aircraft.
 
Anyone who knows of Mr. Sullivan's whereabouts or has any information is asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5101.
