CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Sheriff's deputies were called to the Sam Rittenberg Gamestop earlier this month after they say a man grabbed an XBox on his way out the door.

According to an incident report, the man came into the store on Jan. 5 around 11:30 a.m. and walked around asking staff members about some of the games.

As he left, however, employees told police he grabbed an 250 gigabyte XBox 360 system that was packaged in a Gamestop box and left without paying.

Witnesses told deputies the suspect got into a gold or tan hatchback vehicle driven by a white female. The couple reportedly took off down Sam Rittenberg towards I-526.

The report says the suspect's vehicle was registered to BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC.

If anyone knows about this or any other crime they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
