Beaufort deputies ID teen in car theft

BLUFFTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Beaufort County deputies identified a teen in a vehicle theft from a Bluffton business.

According to deputies, 18-year-old James Jermaine Duncan is wanted on grand larceny charges after he allegedly stole a Ford Expedition from Peacock Cabinetry.

Deputies say Duncan entered the cabinetry store under the guise of looking for work, stole an employee's keys and drove away.

The SUV was found a day later in Savannah, officials said.

Duncan is also considered a suspect in two other vehicle thefts that happened at a nearby gym. Witnesses described a man matching Duncan's build and complexion to officers in those cases, deputies said.

Duncan's last known address is on Rayburn Street in Savannah, but officials said he is also known to hang out near the Old South Apartments in Bluffton.
