BEAUFORT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two Beaufort men were arrested on drug charges this week after an investigation by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

According to officials, 35-year-old James Odom and 26-year-old Lorenzo Delmone Rivers were arrested after an investigation stemming from reports that the two men were dealing drugs from a Beeburst Lane home.

Odom was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a Schedule II drug, specifically Hydrocodone.

Rivers was charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule II drug, possession of cocaine, and possession of a stolen firearm.

Around 10 a.m. Thursday, deputies executed the search warrant and found 1,268 grams of marijuana, about a gram of cocaine, 17 Hydrocodone pills, two handguns, a rifle, an assortment of drug paraphernalia, and $665 in cash.

Deputies discovered that one of the guns was stolen from an earlier crime in Beaufort County, officials said.

Both men are being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
