CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials are asking the public for help in identifying two men they said robbed a McCrady's Restaurant cook when he was leaving work earlier this month.

According to a police report, the cook was walking to a parking lot on Chalmers Street on Jan. 4 when two black males approached him.

The man told officials he felt threatened and feared he would be harmed, the report states.

According to the report, the cook dropped the bag he was carrying and handed the men his wallet.

The cook started to walk away with his iPhone and the men demanded he give it to them, the cook told officials.

According to the report, the men asked the cook to look away as they ran toward State Street.

The men made off with about $260 worth of items, according to the police report.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
