LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) -- Two men were taken to the hospital after a pursuit with Lexington police officers ended in a crash.

WIS-TV reports that police responded to an unrelated call at Target at around 4 p.m. on Sunday when officers noticed three men with merchandise that was reported stolen.

Lexington Police Lt. Carroll Bledsoe says the men drove off and subsequently crashed into a tree. Authorities are still looking for one man who fled the scene of the crash.

Bledsoe says the other two men were taken to the hospital and were expected to be OK. Police found some of the stolen merchandise and methamphetamines in the truck, and the man face shoplifting and drug charges.

No officers were injured.
