CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man they think is behind the armed robbery that happened at a Maybank Highway restaurant Sunday morning.

According to CCSO officials, deputies responded to Zia Taqueria just after midnight Sunday, Feb. 23.

An employee told deputies that an unknown black male came in through an unlocked back door, came down a hallway that connects adjoining businesses and pointed a silver handgun at the employee.

The suspect reportedly got away with an undisclosed amount of money and K-9 and air support units were not able to track him. No injuries were reported.

Deputies arrested 48-year-old Troy David Williams of North Charleston Thursday.

Williams is charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
