GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Georgetown girl who disappeared from her bus stop Thursday morning has been found, according to the girl's father Levi Smith.

"Thank you for your concerns. We found out she's safe," he said.

Levi Smith called the day "troublesome," saying he was relieved she had been located.

"It's tough. It's rainy, cold. Worrying about your child, that was the biggest part. Just making sure everything was fine. She is doing as well as can be expected at this time,"he said.

He did not give any more details about the circumstances surrounding her being located.

Georgetown County Sheriff's officials said Smith was not abducted as originally thought, and was found safe at a home on Fuzzy Drive in the Oatland Community of Georgetown County.

Investigators spent the day asking for the public's help to find the teenaged girl.

According to a release from the GCSO, 16-year-old Nyala Keshon Smith was last seen around 6:30 a.m. at her bus stop on Sutton Road in the Browns Ferry Community.

Witnesses told deputies they saw Smith in what appeared to be "an altercation with a
black male" who has been identified as 19-year-old Anthony Marquise Williams of 821 Sutton Road in Georgetown.

The teen's father said he did not know Williams.

"Still trying to figure all that out. Once we figure that out we'll be able to talk again but I don't have information now," Levi Smith said.

As of Friday morning, authorities are still looking for Williams. They described Williams as being 5-foot 6-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Williams is charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Anyone that has any information on the whereabouts of Anthony Williams is
asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 843-546-5101.
