WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Someone who walked into a West Ashley McDonald's wanted much more than a Value Meal early Thursday.

A supervisor with Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch says Charleston Police were called to the Magwood Drive location after a reported armed robbery.

Police arrived to the restaurant around 2:30 a.m. according to a CPD police report.

Officials spent time speaking with workers inside the restaurant who told them that two black men wearing ski masks came in through the front door.

Both suspects are described as being about 5'10" tall with average builds. Both men were reportedly armed with guns.

The suspects took an unknown amount of money and fled down Magwood Dr. towards Ashley River Road.
