CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County sheriff's deputies have arrested one of two suspects wanted for robbing a Subway restaurant while wearing Halloween masks.

According to a release from CCSO officials, 28-year-old Vince Roshied Bowens is charged with kidnapping and armed robbery for an incident at the Savannah Highway Subway on Nov. 1.

Deputies responded around 9 p.m. that night. Workers told them the suspects, wearing Halloween masks, pulled out a shot gun and demanded money.

According to a police report, the suspects stole about $350 from two registers. Surveillance video was released and about a week later an anonymous tip came in to deputies naming Bowens as one of the suspects.

Investigators note in an affidavit that Bowens is the same height and weight as one of the men seen on the video. Officials also said they found an orange Halloween mask and two tills in a wooded area near the crime scene.

The State Law Enforcement Division conducted DNA analysis on the mask that came back as a match for Bowens' DNA. The results came in on March 5.

On March 14, the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force got a tip from Crime Stoppers giving Bowen's location. He'll have a bond hearing on Saturday.

On Saturday, Bowens' bond was set at $250,000.

If anyone has any information about the second suspect in this robbery, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
