MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WCIV) – Four people were injured Saturday morning in a condo fire and now two of them have passed away.

The Georgetown Coroner announced that 56-year-old Andrew Hildebrandt died from multi-organ system failure Tuesday. He is the second burn victim to have died.

The first victim, 73-year-old John Long, passed away on Saturday upon arriving at the Augusta Burn Center. His cause of death was also multi-organ system failure.

According to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters rushed to a home on Lotus Court around 9 a.m. Saturday. Four people were taken from the home to Waccamaw Community Hospital.

The sheriff’s office, the State Law Enforcement Division, and the Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire Department are investigating the fire.

Officials did not have an update on the condition of the other victims.
