PGA Tour pros to participate in traditional sunrise service at RBC Heritage

Posted: Updated:
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (RBC) – PGA TOUR pros Chesson Hadley, Richard  Lee and Ben Martin will join tomorrow’s traditional Sunrise Service at the 46th RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. The service will take place at 7:30 am Sunday on the 18th hole and Hadley will provide the testimony.

The Easter Egg Hunt will occur on the Heritage Lawn between holes 17 and 18 immediately following the service, around 8:30 am.

Spectators attending the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing Sunday will still be unable to park in the general spectator lots.  Spectators without number specific parking hangtags must park at Honey Horn at 70 Honey Horn Plantation Road. This is the primary spectator parking lot for Sunday.  Shuttle buses will pick up spectators from Honey Horn and then drop off at the Harbour Town Marina.   Each bus will stop at Will Call in the Sea Pines Welcome Center parking lot if necessary.  Shuttle buses will start at 6:30 am and run until one hour after the end of play.

Spectators who have number specific parking hangtags may be directed to other parking lots depending on the condition of their assigned parking area.

Weather has forced the continued parking changes since rain has rendered many of the parking areas inside Sea Pines unusable.

“The weather at this year’s tournament has forced us to make difficult decisions, but despite the challenges we are maintaining our traditions like the Sunrise Service,” said Tournament Director Steve Wilmot.  “We appreciate that our fans adhered to all the parking changes and came out to watch great golf.”

The rain has also forced tournament officials to cancel this evening’s concert on the Heritage Lawn.
