DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (WCIV) -- The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a Charleston man they say jumped off a cruise ship that was off the coast of Florida early Sunday morning.

According to officials, 30-year-old James Miller, of Charleston, reportedly went overboard of the cruise ship Celebration about 27 miles east of Delray Beach, Fla. The Coast Guard was notified around 2 a.m., officials said.

Coast Guard Sector Miami issued an urgent broadcast and launched several crews to look for Miller. A Coast Guard cutter and two air crews were also sent in to help with the search.

Officials said the cruise ship is currently docked at the Port Everglades and the FBI is investigating the incident.
