BONNEAU, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials say one person was killed and another person was hurt after a wreck in Berkeley County late Tuesday night.

A spokesperson for the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 10 p.m. along East Church Street near George Lane in Bonneau.

Troopers say the driver of a 1995 Oldsmobile failed to yield right of way and entered the path of a 2008 GMC SUV. The driver of that SUV was traveling south on East Church Street when the crash happened.

The driver of the Oldsmobile, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was killed. Coroner Bill Salisbury identified the deceased as 53-year-old Victoria Lynn Litchfield. She died from head trauma.

The driver of the GMC was identified as Caylan Hush, 20, of Bonneau. She was taken by ambulance to MUSC. Her condition is unknown. Officials say Hush was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
