Tuscaloosa farmers market returning

The fresh fruits and vegetables will once again be made available to folks in Tuscaloosa soon.  The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market at the River Market will resume Tuesday May 6.  However, the market season will kick off a little earlier.  A grand celebration will be held Saturday, May 3 in honor of the Cinco de Mayo holiday.  The farmers market will host a mariachi band as well as children's activities and snack offerings from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market is focused on providing service to the community while supporting local farmers and artisans.  The Tuesday markets will operate from 7 a.m. to noon.
