CARY, N.C., May 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 25, 2014, Autonomic Resources's FedRAMP JAB P-ATO for their ARC-P™ IaaS cloud offering was successfully leveraged, for a second time by an outside cloud vendor to achieve a FedRAMP P-ATO. Autonomic Resources provided the underlying infrastructure for Economic Systems's (EconSys) Software as a Service offering as they took it through the FedRAMP authorization process. The result was a seamless assessment and rapid approval for their SaaS cloud offering.

This approval was the second SaaS offering to leverage ARC-P™ in pursuit of authorization, the first being Concurrent Technologies Corporation's (CTC) SaaS offering on December 20, 2013. Both of these cloud vendors took advantage of Autonomic's FedRAMP Express service offering, which includes FedRAMP Security Consulting services and the ability to leverage ARC-P™ IaaS. Ultimately, this offering allows vendors to inherit up to 35% of the total FedRAMP baseline of security controls. By leveraging ARC-P, both CTC and EconSys quickly achieved government-wide ATOs and saved significant costs that are typically associated with authorization. Autonomic can assure that through this process, any given vendor's government customers will become compliant with their agency OMB requirements.

It is apparent that Autonomic Resources's ARC-P™ IaaS gives SaaS providers an invaluable edge when approaching authorization. Autonomic holds the first FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board (JAB) P-ATO (December 2012) and the first Department of Defense P-ATO (April 2013). Autonomic Resources' unique understanding of the FedRAMP process along with their FedRAMP Security Consulting and Security Package Development capabilities ensure customers rapid compliance and authorization. In forging the path for federal cloud security, Autonomic has discovered the most effective approach to cloud authorization.

"With the authorization of yet another SaaS offering leveraging ARC-P, the value and consistent security prowess of our platform have been established," said John Keese, President and CEO of Autonomic Resources. "We look forward to additional approvals of our FedRAMP Express customers in the near future."

"Use of the Autonomic Resources' ARC-P™ infrastructure was a crucial component in completing our FedRAMP assessment, and being granted a FedRAMP P-ATO," said George Kettner, CEO of EconSys. "This rapid turn-around enabled FHR Navigator to become the first Human Resources Enterprise System to become FedRAMP authorized, allowing us to offer our federal client superior security, and giving us a strategic edge over other systems in the Federal HR market."
