CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The nation's only four-year liberal arts college that trains artisans in traditional building arts is holding its commencement exercises in Charleston.

Eight students at the American College of the Building Arts are receiving degrees during Saturday's graduation on the college's campus in the city's historic district. The graduates are receiving degrees in timber framing, forged iron or carpentry.

The commencement speaker is Katharine Robinson, the president and CEO of the Historic Charleston Foundation.
