Charleston County deputies find missing man

AWENDAW, S.C. (WCIV) -- An elderly man has been found who was believed to have walked away from a living facility on Highway 17 Saturday evening. 

Charleston County deputies say 63-year-old Hugh Mosley was found safe Sunday morning with relatives in Georgia. 

According to deputies, Mosley walked away from Bowes Residential Care Facility in Awendaw. He was last seen by the facility's staff around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Mosley is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and 215 pounds, deputies said. He has been diagnosed as being schizophrenic and having dementia. Mosley was last seen wearing a red Alabama T-Shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a ball cap.
