NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- At least three people were wounded in a shooting in North Charleston early Sunday morning.

According to North Charleston police, the shooting happened at Willie's Bar and Grill shortly after midnight when there was a disturbance in the bathroom and employees began sending people out of the bar.

Police said the suspect reportedly went to his car, walked back toward the bar and opened fire.

Two people were hit by gunfire and a third person had some scrapes that may have come from being hit too, police said.

According to police, the security officer at the bar opened fire at the suspect as he ran.

After the shooting, a third victim showed up at Roper Hospital at Northwoods for treatment, police said. None of the injuries sustained were life-threatening.

Police are still investigating the incident.
