Traffic stop leads to fake credit cards, electronics find

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Florida man was arrested at a traffic stop in Santee after deputies found fake credit cards and fraudulently purchased electronics.

According to deputies, Omar Osvaldo Macado Blanco, of Miami, was charged with eight counts of financial transaction card fraud.

Orangeburg County officials said they were alerted to the stop by South Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers of the traffic stop at the Shell station on Old Number 6 Highway.

Deputies said Blanco had a fake Ohio driver's license under a false name, eight counterfeit cards, and televisions and Playstations that were bought with the fake cards.
