GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Georgetown County Sheriff’s officials said they have arrested a man they believe robbed a church earlier this year.

According to a release from the GCSO, 17-year-old Collin Stanley Thompson is charged with one count of Second Degree Burglary.

Around 10 a.m. on March 18, deputies responded to Cornerstone Baptist Church on Brick Chimney Road. They said they found the glass doors broken, rooms ransacked and several fire extinguishers discharged. A laptop and some food products were reported stolen.
