2nd suspect arrested in February bank robbery

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Charleston man was arrested as a second suspect in the Feb. 4 robbery of a West Ashley bank.

According to Charleston police, 32-year-old Loenard Riley III was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Warrants were served by police on Tuesday at Riley's Burris Road home.

Police initially arrested Ryan Lanard Bonneau, of North Charleston, and charged him with the same crimes. He is still being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.

Police say on Feb. 4, two men entered the First Federal Bank on Magwood Drive armed with handguns and demanded money.

Police said they are still investigating the case.
