GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Georgetown County deputies are hoping someone can identify the suspects wanted in connection to shots being fired in the Oatland community.

According to deputies, shots were fired around 1 a.m. Tuesday on Jiles Road. A victim told deputies that he was waiting on a friend when a black SUV with out-of-state tags stopped in front of his home. As the man walked towards the vehicle, a man got out of the SUV and pulled out a gun, the report states.

The victim told officers that there was a brief altercation and he ran back inside.

Deputies described the first suspect as a 6-foot-tall heavy set black man. The driver of the SUV was a black woman, deputies said.

If anyone can identify either suspect or has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 843-546-5101.
