CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police report they arrested a man Friday for breaking into a car on Cecilia Drive but the suspect had already been arrested on Wednesday for breaking into a car on Orange Branch Road.

Officials said the man, identified as 19-year-old Daniel John Richardson, was released on bond after originally being arrested around 3 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the car was unlocked when the suspect took cash and a wallet from it. Friday's break-in netted the suspect a cell phone and some coins.

He is now charged with two counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and is being held at the detention center.
