JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a James Island Kangaroo Gas Station Monday.

CCSO deputies say no injuries were reported after the incident on Camp and Folly roads.

Investigators said two suspects are both described as white males between the ages of 20 and 25. According to an incident report, the store clerk said the two men entered the gas station, demanded all the money, and then ran when another witness approached them because they were wearing clothes that covered their faces.

One of the men had a handgun, deputies said.

The men reportedly fled from the scene on foot around noon.

If you have any information on this or any other crime you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
