ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCIV) -- A four-foot gator decided to try out life along the baseline of the clay courts at Wild Dunes Thursday afternoon.

An astute viewer with a camera phone snapped the photo and passed it along to ABC News 4.

Right now, it's unclear what happened to the gator, but we are trying to find out.

There was quite a bit of attention for another alligator earlier this week when it showed up at Tanger Outlets in North Charleston. According to reports, that gator got a reprieve and was moved to an isolated area in Goose Creek.

For the last month, gators have been big news in the Lowcountry after fishermen spotted one nearly 20 miles off the coast and two days later, a 10-foot gator was killed after it washed up on Folly Beach.
