TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Police say a Trussville man known for his childhood role in the movie "Talladega Nights" is free on bond after being arrested following a five-car crash in his hometown.

Trussville Police Chief Don Sivley says 20-year-old Luke Bigham surrendered to police late Thursday on a reckless driving charge.

He's now free on $1,000 bond.

Bigham appeared as the 10-year-old Ricky Bobby in the 2006 movie starring Will Ferrell. He lives in Trussville, northeast of Birmingham.

Bigham is charged with a misdemeanor in a five-car crash that happened Wednesday in Trussville. Bigham was allegedly driving more than 80 mph when he struck another vehicle, causing the pileup.
