Shelby Co looking for probation violation suspect along 280

Shelby Co looking for probation violation suspect along 280

SHELBY COUNTY - AL - Shelby County deputies are looking for David William Ricketts, a suspect from a domestic violence investigation. When deputies saw him traveling along Highway 280 near Eagle Point subdivision around 6:15 Monday evening, they initiated a traffic stop. Ricketts left the vehicle and escaped.

Deputies have been looking for him since.

Ricketts is 31-years-old, white, 5'11", has brown hair and hazel eye. He wore blue shorts, a white shirt, and a camouflage hat during the traffic stop.

He also has an outstanding warrant for probation violation.
