CCSO: Victim uncooperative after being shot in chest

Posted: Updated:
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting they say happened on Bobo Road around 3:30 Wednesday morning.

According to an incident report, the victim's girlfriend got a call to pick him up and take him to the hospital because he had been shot. The woman told police she found the 27-year-old victim at his cousin's home on Bobo Road. He had been wounded in the chest while somewhere in the area and ran to his cousin's house.

Deputies went to the home but found no evidence of a shooting and the victim, who was alert, was not cooperative in providing information on who had shot him.

If anyone knows anything about this or any other crime, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

We will update this story when more information becomes available.
