COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - After two years on the job, athletic director Ray Tanner doesn't see South Carolina slowing down in its goal to be one of the best programs in the Southeastern Conference.

Tanner said Friday that the most of the school's athletic teams have continued their rise in the league, led by the football program's third straight 11-2 record and No. 4 spot in the end-of-the-season rankings.

The women's basketball also had a record-setting year, winning an SEC regular-season title and gaining it's first-ever No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Tanner says those sports that aren't yet as competitive, like men's basketball, are tracking in the right direction.

The AD concluded his second full year in charge after leading Gamecock baseball o two national titles and a runner-up finish from 2010-12.
