Radio legend Casey Kasem dies at 82

Casey Kasem the host of American Top 40 countdown passed away early this morning. The former musician, radio personality and actor best known as the host of the music radio program American Top 40 died at St. Anthony's hospital in Gig Harbor Washington. He was surrounded by friends and family, Kerri, Mike and Julie.

Statement from Kerri, Mike and Julie:
Early this Father’s Day morning, our dad Casey Kasem passed away surrounded by family and friends. Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken. Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad.
