CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Charleston man was arrested Saturday for reportedly flashing people as they walked by him at Marion Square downtown.

According to court documents, 49-year-old Bryan Allen Matzke is charged with felony indecent exposure.

Charleston Police responded to Marion Square around 11:45 a.m. Saturday, according to the police report.

Witnesses said a man was exposing his penis to people as they walked by his park bench at the outer edge of the park across from Club Mynt.

Police said when they found Matzke, he was wearing a long t-shirt and appeared to have a red cup peeking out from underneath. The officer asked Matzke what he had under his shirt and the officer said he pulled out an empty red Solo cup.

The officer told Matzke of the complaints they had received and asked him to pull up his shirt. Matzke complied and officers said his penis was sticking out from the open zipper of his jeans.

Matzke was taken into custody and was given a $10,000 bond.
