CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police have arrested a man they say is responsible for two separate armed robbery incidents on the peninsula last month.

According to CPD officials, 18-year-old Kyle Grant robbed a man at gunpoint at the corner of President and Bogart streets May 30th.

Investigators believe Grant then escalated to armed robbery of a business the very next day, hitting the Shop and Go on Hagood Avenue.

Grant was arrested Tuesday. He faces two counts of armed robbery and two counts of possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
