MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- The area around a Taco Bell in Mount Pleasant was blocked off by police early Thursday morning.

An officer on the scene said they were searching for someone. Dispatchers say officers were called out to the reported robbery at the restaurant on Sea Palms Crescent near the Isle of Palms Connector around 2:30 a.m.

Roads were cleared around 3:30 a.m. Officials said it was an armed robbery with two suspects who are now at large.

Police said one black male entered the restaurant while another stayed at the door. They were reportedly dressed all in black and one of them had a firearm.

Both men fled on foot with an unknown amount of money. Police released a photo of one of the suspects Thursday afternoon.

If anyone knows anything about this or any other crime, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
